1. What we do not do
caseflow.uk sets no cookies of its own, anywhere. We run no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising tags and no session recording. Typefaces are served from our own domain rather than a font network, and images are our own files, so simply reading this site tells nobody that you visited.
This is why you were not shown a consent banner. We set nothing to ask permission for, and the one third party we do use — described next — is there to keep the contact form working, not to learn anything about you.
2. The one exception: the contact form
The contact page — and only that page — loads hCaptcha, a spam check operated by Intuition Machines, Inc. Without it the enquiry form would be filled by bots within days.
- Where it runs: /contact/ only. Every other page on this site, including this one, contacts nobody.
- What it receives: your IP address and signals about how you interact with the page, which it uses to tell a person from a script. It may store data on your device for that purpose.
- Why there is no consent prompt: it is strictly necessary to deliver a service you asked for — a working enquiry form that is not drowning in automated submissions. It is not used for advertising, analytics or profiling.
- Their terms: hCaptcha’s own privacy policy is at hcaptcha.com/privacy.
If you would rather not load it at all, do not use the form: write to us at the postal address at the end of this page instead, and nothing is sent to any third party.
3. What that leaves
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs — the request, the time, the IP address — as every web server does. Those are not cookies and they are not used to track you between visits. Our privacy notice covers them.
If you send us an enquiry, what happens to the details you type is also covered by the privacy notice.
4. How to check we are telling the truth
Do not take our word for it. Open your browser’s developer tools, look at the Application or Storage tab for cookies and storage, and at the Network tab for the list of hosts the page contacts. You should find no cookie set by us anywhere, and no host other than caseflow.uk on any page except the contact form.
5. If this changes
We may one day add something that needs a cookie — privacy-respecting analytics, for example, or a tool for booking briefings. If we do, we will update this page before it goes live and ask for your consent first for anything that is not strictly necessary to deliver the site. You will be able to decline without losing access to anything.
